We are currently recruiting for a Lettings Administrator to join our team in Wakefield. As a Lettings Administrator, your role will be to provide a professional, courteous, and friendly service to customers, ensuring they receive a high level of support throughout their tenancy experience. You will deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to the Lettings Team, supporting them with a variety of tasks.
Please note this is a temporary contract lasting a maximum of 12 weeks
Requirements
Outline of key responsibilities for the Lettings Administrator.
- Dealing with office and team contacts (including phone calls with customers & external organisations, tasks, e-mails) offering appropriate help and advice.
- Referring contacts where necessary to appropriate staff within the company for attention and action and chasing any actions.
- Processing invoices and receipting goods received using Ebis Where required
- Activating and maintaining applications for housing for the group
- Supporting customers over the phone with lettings queries and completing housing applications for the group
- Provide administrative support to the Lettings Co-ordinator, Lettings Manager, and Lettings Advisors.
- Organising and minuting any team meetings
- Assist with photocopying, collating, and scanning documents onto systems, while maintaining an efficient electronic and paper tenancy filing system, and supporting the production of statistical information for both internal and external purposes.
We are looking for someone who has…
- Proven experience of providing a comprehensive administrative service in a team environment.
- To have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook
- To provide excellent customer service skills
- Ability to undertake and interpret numerical calculations
- Written and numeracy skills sufficient to carry out the duties of the post

Please note this is a temporary contract lasting a maximum of 12 weeks
- Starting salary of £24,243 per annum
- Annual pay scale increase
- 27 days holiday (rising to 32 over 5 years’ service) + bank holidays (pro-rata)
