We are looking to recruit an experienced Domiciliary Care Manager to manage our South Gloucestershire branch.

This position requires someone to have experience in domiciliary care, ideally management, but also to be passionate about delivering the highest standards of care to our clients.

It is a fast paced environment, requiring you to be proactive and also responsive.

Requirements of the position:

  • To lead and manage the South Gloucestershire branch in line with CQC regulations
  • Ensure that all clients are receiving an excellent service and that their care plans are regularly reviewed in line with company policies.
  • Build relationships with your care team, families, clients, the local authority and health professionals in the area.
  • Ensure new staff receive a thorough induction and are supported during their 12 week probation.
  • Deal with complaints in a timely manner
  • Lead team meetings with the care team
  • Support the Regional Manager with growth and development of the area
  • Ensure all staff remain compliant with their training and supervision
  • Be on call as part of a rotation basis
  • Provide care in the community when required in case of staff sickness
  • Manage annual leave and absence
  • Support the Care Coordinator with planning of the weekly carers rotas
  • Promptly and professionally deal with all enquiries.
  • Meet the weekly KPI’s set by the Director and Quality Manager.
  • Answer incoming calls to the branch and be professional at all times ensuring you are helpful and deliver what you agree.
  • Respond to all emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • To support our Recruitment officer with interviews if required during their leave.

You will need to be able to drive for this position and have access to a car. Your working week will mainly be in our Soth Glos head office, but we also have access to an office in South Gloucestershire.

You will also need to be very flexible, there will be times you will be required outside of the usual working day. Our office working day is 08.30-17.00 Monday - Friday.

The perfect candidate will have a tenacious and positive approach and be able to lead from the front. You will need to be able to prioritise and be extremely organised. This is an excellent opportunity and we will be keen for you to have the opportunity to progress and take a position as the Registered Branch Manager.
