We are currently seeking a bright, organised, and experienced administrator to join our Business Support department.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, proactive, and ambitious individual who wishes to further their career in the accountancy world. Directly reporting to the Office and Compliance Manager and Partners, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting various departments, including Tax, Compliance, HR and the wider Business Support team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-office support to head receptionist for reception cover, including meeting and greeting visitors, booking meeting rooms, and handling incoming and outgoing calls and post
- Assist with new client onboarding and monitoring
- Support the Compliance and Office Manager in office-wide projects
- Assist with event management including coordination of our black-tie dinner
- Assist with HR administration and general Business Support functions
Work closely with the Tax team, handling a wide range of administrative tasks including:
- Attending weekly Tax meetings to discuss upcoming tasks, record minutes and assist with actions
- Onboarding tax clients and maintaining client records
- Opening, scanning, distributing and sending HMRC post
- Uploading documents for online signature
- Drafting and sending Tax engagement letters
- Coordinating team timesheets, updating tax attendance records, and keeping practice management software up-to-date
- Assisting the Tax Partner and Tax Managers with client work, when required
Requirements:
- A-Levels or equivalent; Maths and English GCSE
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role is preferred
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues at all levels
- Confidence, resilience and the ability to thrive in a varied and challenging role
- Proficiency in using office software packages
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Ability to commute or relocate to Central London
