Well, we have a new opportunity for you to join our ever-growing team as a Social Media Executive.
The successful applicant will work within the content team which are responsible for running the social media accounts of key destination-based clients. Experience using social media is essential, and the ideal candidate must be able to communicate politely and effectively at all levels. Excellent spelling and grammar are also a must, as is the ability to multitask effectively.
The Social Media Executive will report back to the Head of Content and liaise with both clients and the internal team on a regular basis to ensure delivery is of a high standard and meets expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
o Scheduling organic social media content for a range of clients
o Daily social media monitoring for clients
o Creating meaningful and engaging content for social media
o Keeping an eye on trending audio and TikTok/Reel templates
o Working closely with senior team members to contribute towards strategies
o Engaging with target markets and stakeholders via social media channels
o Updating content on client websites
o Monitoring engagement rates and reporting back on statistics/KPIs
o Taking ownership of content strategies and making plans to organically grow your pages
o Occasionally boosting your organic content via ads manager platforms
o Creating/maintaining organic social event pages
o Researching and disseminating community news/events
The hours to be worked total an average of 30-40 hours per week, including a combination of office days from 9am - 5:30pm and working from home to cover weekday evenings, and weekend cover of two hours per day on a rota with several other colleagues.
Please note that there is also the expectation that the successful candidate will be flexible to help cover staff holidays and sickness when required, and there is the requirement to work on some bank holidays.
Person Specification
Essential:
o Social media experience
o Excellent general writing skills
o Excellent communication skills
o Attention to detail
o Knowledge of your social media insights pages and an understanding of performance metrics
o Knowledge and use of all social media platforms
Desirable:
o Experience in the retail or leisure industries
o To support the wider team with social media cover where required
Job Type: 30-40 Hours per week
