Overview:
Ethelbert Children’s Services are seeking caring and motivated Residential Workers and Senior Residential Workers to care and work with our children who have emotional and behavioural difficulties. The role can be challenging and difficult but rewarding, successful candidates will require resilience, patience, understanding and a good parental value base. The successful applicants need to be committed to working with children and supporting the teams in helping our children achieve their best outcomes.
We welcome interest from individuals to undertake residential positions in our homes located throughout Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs, Kent.
Duties:
- The home operates 24/7 care provision with the team working a shift pattern which includes weekends and sleep-ins each week.
- The role offers a competitive salary, as detailed below.
- All residential staff will attend relevant professional training for their development which is financially supported by the company gaining nationally recognised qualifications, Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, promoting knowledge with good long-term career and promotion prospects.
