With ambitious growth plans and a mission to redefine procurement in the construction industry, we are expanding our team and looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us generate and qualify leads, build strong relationships, and contribute to our rapid success.

The Role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), your role is to identify, qualify, and generate leads to build a strong pipeline for our Business Development Managers (BDMs). You’ll be engaging with main contractors in the construction industry through calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and inbound lead follow-ups.

This is a 100% new business-focused role, requiring resilience, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to book discovery calls and arrange demos, which will be handled by a BDM or senior team member.

This role is perfect for someone looking to kickstart or grow their career in sales, work in a fast-moving tech startup, and play a key role in shaping the future of construction procurement.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Generate and qualify high-quality leads for the BDM team to support revenue growth.
  • Use cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and networking to identify and engage potential clients.
  • Follow up on inbound leads, assess their needs, and book them in for discovery calls.
  • Schedule 20+ Qualified Leads per month and book 5+ discovery calls per week for the sales team.
  • Identify and track key decision-makers at major construction firms.
  • Keeping accurate records of outreach efforts, client interactions, and feedback.
  • Working closely with the BDM team and CRO to refine messaging and improve conversion strategies.
  • Representing C-Link at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand presence.

  • Organisational skills – ability to manage your time and pipeline effectively.
  • A keen interest in sales and business development, with a drive to succeed.
  • Proactive mindset – eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Basic understanding of CRM systems and sales tools (or a willingness to learn).
  • Experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation is a plus but not required – we care more about attitude and potential!
