Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities

As the Scrum Master, you will act as a servant leader, facilitating team collaboration, removing impediments, and ensuring Agile principles and practices are effectively implemented. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and services that meet business objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Lead Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and ensure adherence to Agile methodologies.
  • Support the Service Owner with backlog prioritisation and facilitate communication between the team and stakeholders.
  • Remove obstacles, shield the team from distractions, and promote a focus on sprint goals.
  • Educate team members and stakeholders on Agile practices while fostering self-organisation and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor team performance metrics, provide progress updates to stakeholders, and communicate risks and challenges effectively.

About You

  • Experience in scaled Agile environments (e.g., SAFe) with practical application of Agile principles.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience applying them in real-world scenarios.
  • Background in software development and/or project management, with familiarity with key methodologies.
  • Effective leadership skills, promoting a supportive, inclusive, and communicative team environment.
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities, adapting to changing requirements, and fostering team collaboration and psychological safety.
