BEMS Installation Engineer - West London

We are looking for an experienced BEMS Installation Engineer who has a dynamic and flexible approach to working with clients. You will be an excellent communicator and enjoy working as part of a team, supporting the development of junior engineers and the office delivery function.

This role has the opportunity for progression into commissioning, engineering supervision and management, with the intention that the successful candidate will be looking to adapt and move into a supervisory level to allow for the growth and development of our business delivery model and support the BEMS Contract Manager with delivering customer service excellence.

Basic Salary – £35,000 - £45,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out control panel modifications and installations as required.
• Attend sites as required to carry out Small Works or Projects.
• Modify and Install containment and cabling system to specification and in accordance with the regulations
• Complete installing inspection and testing and documenting all results
• Document all installed services and asset tag the installation to allow new/modified asset data to be recorded in our asset management system
• Ensure that the Company’s Quality standard and other compliance standards are continually maintained and adhered to.
• Supporting engineers with technical assistance and technical development.
• Liaising closely with the Contract Manager and Service Manager to deliver the expectations of our customers.

Requirements

Who We’re Looking For

• Strong engineering background with a minimum of 2 years as a BEMS Installation Engineer.
• 18th edition qualified electrician with a time-served apprenticeship or suitable alternative practical experience.
• Solid experience of TREND hardware, networks, and or Tridium control platforms.
• C & G level 3 upwards or equivalent Electrical qualifications.
• Able to demonstrate strong diagnostic skills on control problems.
• Must have excellent mechanical plant knowledge.
• Must have a full clean driving licence
• Excellent interpersonal skills to motivate and influence at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to support and provide guidance as a mentor to junior staff members and apprentices.

Desirable

• Tridium N4 Certification
• C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing certification
• Trend Expert Status (current or prior)
• Working experience with Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) or cloud-based job and project management software Systems.
