Requirements
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As an Asbestos Analyst / Auditor , you will play a key role in ensuring compliance, quality, and safety standards across asbestos survey and air monitoring operations. Your duties include:
- Conducting on-site witness auditing, reinspection (5%) auditing , and desktop reviews of reports.
- Auditing air monitoring and clearance operations
- Conducting 4-stage clearances, background, leak, reassurance, clearance, personal, and smoke testing.
- Ensuring quality assurance of reports and compliance with UKAS accreditation standards.
- Providing training and development to field-based teams, including supporting trainees through qualification processes.
- Monitoring staff authorisation levels and conducting performance audits.
- Assisting with complaint investigations and ensuring client satisfaction, including meeting KPI targets.
- Ensuring all equipment is correctly calibrated and maintained according to HSG 264 standards.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Qualifications:
- BOHS P402 (or RSPH Level 3 Certificate in Asbestos Inspection & Surveying).
- BOHS P403 & P404 (essential for air monitoring tasks).
- The BOHS Certificate of Competence in Asbestos.
Desirable Qualifications:
- IOSH Working Safely Qualification.
- Risk assessment training.
Key Skills:
- Strong reporting, auditing, and training capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong understanding of HSE guidelines and UKAS quality standards.
