Working Model: Hybrid working with some WFH, some travel around various locations in the UK also required

Salary : Up to £75,000 DOE

We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Account Director to lead the management of our direct supply leasing partners. This senior role will be responsible for overseeing key B2B partner relationships, ensuring high performance across accounts, and driving growth through strategic planning, operational excellence, and team leadership. The Account Director will also mentor and manage an Account Manager to deliver best-in-class service to our partners.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage high-value direct supply leasing partner relationships, serving as the strategic lead and escalation point for all partner matters.
  • Lead partner strategy development, including growth planning, revenue forecasting, and service optimization.
  • Drive performance across accounts by ensuring KPIs, SLAs, and compliance standards are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (sales, operations, preparation, and finance) to deliver integrated and tailored solutions to partners.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Account Manager, including coaching, support, and performance management.
  • Oversee reporting and analytics on account performance, including regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand business within existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell strategies.
  • Ensure smooth execution of invoicing, payment, and contract management processes in line with financial controls.

Skills and Experience:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Proven experience in managing teams and fostering high-performance cultures.
  • Strategic Account Management: Extensive experience in B2B account leadership, ideally within automotive, leasing, or fleet management sectors.
  • Partner Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture senior-level client relationships.
  • Business Development: Track record of identifying opportunities and growing revenue across key accounts.
  • Operational Oversight: Deep understanding of service delivery, compliance, and contract execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Thinking: Comfortable with data analysis and reporting tools to monitor
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to executive stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a senior account management or director-level role.
  • Experience working within or alongside direct supply or vehicle leasing partners is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA a plus.
