Web Administrator (Hybrid) - Dunmow, Essex

Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused Web Administrator with experience in either pet care , fashion or cosmetics an essential requirement to join our team and take charge of managing and optimising our websites. These include several Shopify-powered B2C stores (covering fashion, jewellery, beauty, and pet accessories), as well as our dedicated B2B e-commerce platform for wholesale clients.

This is a hybrid role , with 2 days per week based at our Dunmow, Essex office and 3 days remote.
Living within close proximity (within 45 minutes) of the office is a must.

You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running, security, and performance of all our websites, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless online experience for both retail and trade customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain multiple Shopify storefronts across our lifestyle brands.
  • Support and run the B2B website , including access control, pricing tiers, order management, and content updates.
  • Ensure consistent uptime, site speed, and optimal performance across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and sales teams to update products, launch promotions, and enhance UX.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues, liaising with developers when needed.
  • Regularly audit sites for SEO , UX , and security improvements.
  • Manage third-party app integrations and e-commerce tools.
  • Maintain clear documentation of updates, processes, and configurations.

Skills & Experience

  • Solid experience working with Shopify , including theme management and app integrations.
  • Familiarity with B2B e-commerce tools and workflows (e.g., Shopify B2B, wholesale platforms).
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript , and Liquid.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices , analytics , and performance optimisation.
  • Experience with Linux/UNIX environments and web hosting basics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Must be located within a 45-minute commute of Dunmow, Essex.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
