Job Title: Junior Production Engineer

Department : Engineering

Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM (early finish at 12:15 PM on Fridays

Duties

• Assist in defining product vision and strategy based on market research and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable product specifications.
• Participate in the product development lifecycle, including planning, execution, and monitoring of projects using methodologies such as SDLC and Waterfall.
• Create wireframes and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of product features while maintaining quality standards.
• Utilise tools such as Jira for project management and tracking progress on tasks.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iterate on product features.
• Stay informed about industry trends, particularly in areas such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud services like AWS.

Skills

• Strong understanding of product management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in wireframing tools to create visual representations of product features.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java and HTML is advantageous.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira for tracking tasks and progress.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• A keen interest in technology trends, particularly related to IoT and cloud computing.
