An innovative, well-funded organisation is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the design, development, and scaling of complex systems in a high-performance, product-led environment. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on architectural ownership and engineering excellence.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across engineering, product, and business teams to shape technical strategy and deliver impactful solutions at scale.

What We’re Looking For:

• 8+ years ’ experience in software engineering, including leading architecture and design decisions
• Deep technical expertise in one or more of: distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), backend platforms (e.g. Node, Java, Python), or microservices
• Proven track record of driving technical direction, mentoring engineers, and scaling systems in production
• Ability to bridge technical and business conversations with non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in high-growth, product-driven environments is highly desirable
