Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to provide educational support to students in a variety of subjects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess the ability to communicate effectively, ensuring that each student receives personalised attention tailored to their learning needs. This role is essential in fostering a positive learning environment and helping students achieve their academic goals.

Duties

• Assess students’ strengths and weaknesses to develop tailored tutoring plans.
• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in designated subjects.
• Communicate clearly with students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.
• Create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
• Support students with special educational needs by adapting teaching methods accordingly.
• Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere to motivate students.

Experience

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children of various ages.
• Familiarity with special education practices is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and parents.
• A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically.
• Ability to educate using innovative methods that inspire learning.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £20.00-£28.35 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
