Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and oversee the development and implementation of innovative solutions that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of technology trends and have a proven track record in managing complex IT environments. As the CTO, you will play a crucial role in shaping our technological direction, ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Duties

  • Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy to support business goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of technology development, including software development, system administration, and network support.
  • Ensure the security of the organisation’s IT infrastructure by implementing robust firewall protections and VPN solutions.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance of technology services.
  • Lead the IT team in troubleshooting issues, providing help desk support, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Implement best practices for system administration, including SCCM management and Citrix deployment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the organisation.

Skills

  • Proficiency in firewall management and VPN configuration.
  • Strong experience in software development methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of system administration practices, including SCCM.
  • Familiarity with Cisco routers and network support protocols.
  • Experience with Citrix environments for virtual application delivery.
  • Ability to provide effective help desk support and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint for collaboration and document management solutions.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £50,000.00-£124,586.00 per year
