Are you ready to lead transformational change through technology? As Head of Business Technology at Guide Dogs, you’ll be at the forefront of developing and implementing business solutions that drive real impact. Your leadership will ensure that our technology aligns with our strategic goals, delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, accessibility, and innovation.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, ensuring our technology investments provide real value and future-proof our systems. Overseeing a multidisciplinary team, you’ll drive a culture of collaboration and high performance, ensuring the delivery of integrated, scalable, and secure business solutions.
Our team is based around a squad model, and you will be comfortable with this idea of nurturing autonomous and self-managing squads.
With responsibility for many of key platforms including our CRM (Salesforce) platform, you’ll optimises their performance, security, and scalability to support our ongoing growth and innovation. You’ll also develop robust vendor management approaches and oversee financial planning to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of our technology solutions.
About You
We’re looking for a proven leader with expertise in technology strategy, business transformation, and enterprise solutions. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience leading technology initiatives in a complex environment, ensuring cost-effective and scalable solutions.
- Strong background in architecture, security, and optimisation within an enterprise setting.
- A track record of delivering business process improvements through innovative technology solutions.
- Leadership experience managing diverse teams, driving collaboration, and fostering high performance.
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management, financial planning, and vendor negotiations.
- A deep understanding of agile methodologies, product roadmaps, and IT governance frameworks.

This role can be based at our Reading or Leamington locations. We have a hybrid approach and aim for colleagues to be in one of our office two days per week. Working hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday. Please note that this role includes frequent travel throughout the UK with a requirement to travel further on occasions to attend meetings.
