Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food production meets the highest standards of quality and presentation. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a dynamic team within the hospitality industry.

Duties

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence in food production.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to help them develop their culinary skills.
  • Help manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends.
  • Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety practices, and restaurant policies.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events or catering services as required.
