Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our award-winning hotel. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that the hotel runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in hospitality, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food services.
- Supervise and train staff to ensure high standards of service and hospitality are maintained.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally to ensure a positive experience.
- Collaborate with human resources to recruit, train, and evaluate hotel staff.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting, to achieve operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as hotel policies.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests by promoting excellent guest services throughout the hotel.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar supervisory role within the hotel industry.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Knowledge of human resources practices related to recruitment, training, and employee relations.
- Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and technology systems is preferred.

Pay: £35,000.00-£42,500.00 per year
