We have a fantastic opportunity at our Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Showroom in Totton for a Group Commercial Sales Manager to join our successful team.

You will play a pivotal role within our three Commercial Vehicle Centres, while leading our Southampton sales team in our Totton showroom.

Package:

  • Monday to Friday (On occasion Saturdays may be required with a day off in Lieu)
  • Basic £50,000 to £60,000 per annum
  • OTE £20,000+ per annum (uncapped)

Main Duties Include :

  • To develop and agree sales plans and budgets
  • Ensure the optimum stock of vehicles
  • Monitor sales performance against current goals and targets
  • Maximise sales and proficiency through satisfaction and retention of customers
  • Ensure the sales team have full knowledge and understanding of product promotions and marketing activities
  • Communicate visions and goals to staff by planning and preparing thoroughly for daily sales meetings
  • Ensure departmental compliance with company policies and industry guidelines

We 're Looking For!

  • Experience as a Sales Manager, ideally within a large site
  • Industry background and knowledge - Light Commercial (LCV) would be an advantage!
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and growth
  • Possess exceptional organisational skills
  • Passionate about people
  • Ability to lead a high performing team
  • Computer skills essential
  • Full UK driving licence
