Please note that we are a Start Up and therefore the compensation for this Non-Executive Director Role, is paid on the basis of company performance. It is a great opportunity for a highly experienced fund manager to be part of a young team to build a hugely successful energy fund of which they will have an equity stake. Your experience will be essential to our growth.

Responsibilities

  • Corporate governance

-Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to achieve organizational goals

  • Provide leadership and direction, ensuring effective management of resources
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, including financial management, program development, and evaluation
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including board members, donors, and community partners
  • Represent the organization at community events, conferences, and meetings
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards
  • Prepare and present reports to the board of directors on organizational performance

Experience

  • Previous experience in mergers and acquisition in the Oil and Gas sector
  • Proven experience in Oil and Gas commodity trading
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in strategic planning and implementation
  • Knowledge of financial management principles and practices
  • Familiarity with investment fund structures and their operations

The Non Executive Director is responsible for overseeing aspects of the organization’s operations. This includes developing strategic plans, managing resources, building relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership and management, as well as experience in strategic planning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £63,336.00-£100,683.00 per year
