Job description
£ 60,000 - £70,000 per annum + 30 days holiday, 10%
West London (Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office)
Contract Type: Fixed Term, 12 months
My client is looking to offer someone the opportunity to own and Lead their UX Design for the complete re-design of their Omni-channel ecommerce website.
They will be integrating multiple ecommerce processes, and need a skilled, experienced, independent and enthusiastic UX Designer to work alongside the UI Designers in creating intuitive, conversion-focused designs.
In what has been a slow market of late, this could be a brilliant opportunity to add a hugely impactful project to your portfolio, where you can truly own the UX design, whilst having the security of a 12 month engagement at a competitive salary, and take advantage of their generous holiday (30+ days) and pension (10% employer contribution) packages.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week based in our London office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead UX design efforts for our e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless user journeys from product discovery to checkout.
- Conduct user research, A/B testing, and usability studies to optimize design for engagement and conversion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that prioritize usability and business goals.
- Advocate for data-driven design improvements that enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
- Ensure all designs meet accessibility and responsive design standards across multiple devices.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a UX designer in an e-commerce environment, with a portfolio showcasing data-driven design decisions.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Strong understanding of user behavior in online shopping and experience optimizing for conversion.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
