Job description

Overview
MTS Staffing are currently looking to recruit A Quality Assurance and Environmental Manager on behalf of our client, a leading Aerospace and IGT manufacturer. As a Quality Assurance & Environmental Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining and developing and maintaining our Quality & Environmental Management Systems. This includes ensuring compliance with ISO9001, AS9100, AS13100, NADCAP, and ISO14001 standards. You will work closely with process owners and cross-functional teams to ensure audit readiness, lead improvement initiatives, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Duties

  • Maintain and develop Quality & Environmental Management Systems to meet industry standards (ISO9001, AS9100, AS13100, NADCAP, ISO14001) and customer-specific requirements.
  • Report on quality and environmental KPIs, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Act as a primary contact for customers and third parties regarding Quality and Environmental Management matters.
  • Lead internal and external audits, manage non-conformances, and support corrective action processes.
  • Support new product introduction and ensure audit readiness across the business.
  • Lead quality-related training and mentoring to foster a Zero-Defect culture.
  • Participate in problem-solving exercises to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure sustainability practices are embedded in operations, and drive initiatives to achieve environmental objectives in alignment with our environmental pathway.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and their application in quality management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Relevant qualifications in Quality Assurance or related fields are desirable.
  • Proficiency in quality management software is an advantage.

Pay: £52,500.00-£650,000.00 per year
