From the original Pieri’s Cafe in the late 70’s, Ristorante Liguria in the 80’s
and 90’s, Pieri’s in the 00’s and now Punto - this venue has been proud to
serve Kilmacolm and the surrounding villages for over 40 years. In it’s latest guise as Punto
‘The Meeting Point,’ we continue this by offering a relaxed bar and restaurant setting
with the emphasis again on quality of product and service.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Chef ce Partie to join our kitchen team in our small italian restaurant.The ideal candidate will have a passion for preparing a range of Italian food and be committed to delivering high-quality dishes.
Duties:

Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards

Assist with food preparation and ensure all dishes are served promptly

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment

Follow food safety regulations and guidelines at all times

Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation
Skills:

Proficient in culinary techniques and meal preparation

Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures

Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively

Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting

Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications preferred

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Must be a team player with a positive attitude towards work
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
