Job description

Must have experience of UK curriculum, ability to travel, own a suitable vehicle with business insurance and breakdown cover, and have a minimum of two days’ availability per week.
Face - to - face interviews will be at our Head Office in Ipswich, Suffolk, IP3 9SX as will a mandatory safeguarding and induction session (unpaid), alongside 2 annual training days across the academic year (paid).
This is a teaching role, you will be working one-to-one to your own timetable. Based outside the classroom in a quiet community setting, or in the young person’s home, you will have the opportunity to develop an excellent rapport with your pupils.
CF Social Work is recruiting qualified Teachers, HLTAs and Tutors with SEN experience to work on a supply basis across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. We are looking for candidates with an understanding of SEN and Mental Health, who are dynamic and proactive, with strong behaviour management, having had previous experience of working with pupils who struggle in a classroom environment. There is a requirement to plan lessons and activities and ensure pupil progress.
This is a term-time only position, on a self-employed contract. You will be paid for your timetabled hours (unless cancellation notice is received).
We offer bespoke education packages and 1:1 tutoring for cases referred to us by local authorities or other agencies. These are young people who are excluded from school, at risk of exclusion from school and/or those whose education is being disrupted by domestic circumstances and young people who are at risk of straying into criminality or already caught up in the criminal justice system. When emergency provision is called for, we can offer a fast and effective response.
Our tutors can support all ages, from children preparing to take the national tests at key stages 1 and 2 through to those preparing for their GCSEs.
