Syos is a fast-growing robotics and aerospace Company, driving the development of cutting-edge uncrewed vehicles (drones) across air, land, and sea for dual-use applications. We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for our uncrewed vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:
- Own the design, prototyping, and fabrication of robotics subsystems, ensuring delivery of value to end-users.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in areas like electrical design, component layout, prototype fabrication, integration, and testing.
- Design cabling, wiring, power, communications, and monitoring components for complex systems.
- Implement integrated systems, including advanced platforms, with a focus on continuous evolution.
- Balance end-user needs with external constraints in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Contribute to the design and development of technology components for various product lines.
- Participate in the design, implementation, and execution of development processes for complex robotic systems.
- Support manufacturing, testing, and deployment of vehicles and payloads.
- Travel occasionally for collaboration and integration activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive professional experience as an Electrical or Mechatronics Engineer.
- Proficiency in wiring, soldering, and electronics troubleshooting.
- Ability to act as a technical owner for complex subsystems, managing stakeholder engagement, requirements, design, implementation, and evolution.
- Holistic approach to working on complex robotic systems throughout their lifecycle.
- Capacity for individual growth, effective mentorship of junior team members, and building team cohesion.
- Passion for aviation and a desire to contribute to the growth of the unmanned/autonomous systems industry.
