A bit about the job:

GI Claims include personal and commercial motor, property, casualty, travel, speciality lines. New technical capability spans across multiple areas of claims and any new projects vary from representing Claims in Group wide initiatives to more local within a single claims area.

Within GI Claims there has been many new digital, analytical tools developed and there is the requirement to develop ongoing strategies as well as transition to persistent ownership.

This role will be responsible for developing future strategy bringing in external market awareness as well as transitioning key products to persistent ownership. Ongoing optimisation roadmap and delivery are key outputs of the role.

You’ll have the opportunity to drive future strategy for key IT elements used within the UKGI claims journey as well as build and implement new/ optimise capability within Claims – predominately IT which will help our customers and/or our colleagues. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of projects from outcome, prioritisation, delivery, solution development, risks and costs.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Good communication skills, including significant experience managing relationships with internal and external teams and stakeholders
Strong IT platform knowledge, preferably in claims, and Guidewire.
Working knowledge of Analytics Decision-Making tools (preferable)
Working knowledge of different project delivery methodologies, and digital customer journey where data analytics are integrated
Energy and drive to be proactive with the desire to take responsibility for tasks and see them through to completion

Salary Circa £55,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
