Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of our poject consisting of 18 new build homes within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management methodologies, including both Waterfall and SAFe frameworks, and will be adept at utilising content management systems and collaboration tools such as Confluence and SharePoint. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring cost control and adherence to timelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning sessions, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline tasks, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Ensuring compliance with building regulations, health and safety and CDM Regulations.
- Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks or issues and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities using content management systems.
- Conduct regular status meetings with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with organisational standards and best practices in project management.
- Liaising with clients, Sub contractors and consultants ensuring project meets design specifications, budget and quality standards.
- Assisting with material quantity and quality as well as purchasing at the best rates.
Skills
- SMSTS & SSSTS qualification is must.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Relevant degree or qualification in construction management or a related discipline.
- Proven successful experience in Construction of new build homes.
- Experience in product management is advantageous.
- Ability to implement cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Advanced Excel and Word skills is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant Health and Safety qualifications will be needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
