Videographer & Production Assistant

Working as part of our experienced video production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of engaging video-based digital learning content across our online education and training courses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Video editing, audio editing, creating graphics in post-production according to established in-house style and processes
  • Engaging with subject matter experts during production to ensure that output meets established high standards
  • To store, organise and manage all project resources (footage and recordings, training materials, transcriptions and any other necessary media) both during and after production, following established protocol
  • Quality control all media/materials provided by subject matter experts
  • Creating and editing accompanying training materials and graphic assets in accordance with MBL branding and accessibility guidelines
  • Implementing and maintaining MBL’s brand guidelines and design philosophy across various projects and platforms
  • Managing personal production workload as organised by production manager
  • Have fantastic communication skills when collaborating with internal and external teams in gathering necessary information for both on day video creation and post-production deliverables
  • Collaborate in team discussions to find innovative solutions to problems and challenges
  • Implement procedures and processes as directed by digital production manager
  • Any other related duties as required that are within your skill or ability

Key Skills

Strong communication skills, with ability to deliver clear, concise information

  • Demonstrable video production skills including footage recording (local/remote), knowledge of lighting techniques, audio recording, editing and postproduction design
  • Strong collaborative teamwork ethic, but with an ability to work independently under own initiative
  • Time management and organisational skills, adherence to strict production schedule and deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications: primarily Premiere Pro and Audition (plus After Effects/Illustrator/Photoshop)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to present information in creative and innovative ways
  • Experience with video communications software (primarily Zoom)
  • Experience of static/motion graphics creation and animation abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and literacy skills
  • Passionate, motivated and creative

Working hours: 35 Hours

Fully Remote/Home working

You must be a UK resident with right to work
