Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Hours & Pay

Pay - £32,000-£40,000 Rotating Saturdays paid at 1.5x & Performance bonus.

Hours - Mon-Fri 8am-5:30pm & Rotating 4 hours Saturday.

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance work.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed on each vehicle, including parts used and labour hours.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle systems.
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and repair tools is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
• NVQ level 3 and similar is also advantageous.
