Why join us

This is an exciting time to join our Strategic Delivery Team. With ambitious growth plans and significant private equity investment, we’re bringing together our services under a bold new strategy. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting business transformation, working on high-impact projects that drive real change. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and want to grow your career in project and programme management, this is a fantastic opportunity.

What We Offer

  • Salary: £ 30,000 - £35,000 per annum
  • Great Benefits
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development
  • A supportive and inclusive work culture

What we 're looking for

We’re looking for a Programme Support Officer to provide essential support to programme and project managers across a wide range of strategic, integration, business change, and technology-related projects.

You’ll assist with planning activities, provide administrative support, and coordinate smaller tactical projects or initiatives. As a Monday.com super user, you’ll optimise how the project management platform is used within the business, ensuring processes run smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include organising meetings and workshops, coordinating resources, and preparing key materials. You’ll produce high-quality documentation such as meeting minutes, action items, and process flow documents, while supporting stakeholder engagement through maintaining stakeholder maps, RACI matrices, and communication plans.

You will also monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as needed. Assisting project managers in tracking progress, managing project plans, and ensuring the integrity of project documentation will be key to your role. Additionally, you’ll support internal reporting, communications, and cost/resource tracking, while occasionally coordinating tactical projects or specific workstreams.

You’ll need strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a project support or PMO role is essential, along with familiarity with project management tools - ideally Monday.com. A Project Management Foundation (PFQ) qualification would be an advantage.

Our Story

WorkNest is part of a wider GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) division owned by Axiom GRC.

This role will play an important part in our strategic change programme - working with a team to ensure we have good governance in place across a complex programme of work. To deliver our exciting new strategy, we will be running dozens of concurrent projects changing systems, processes, organisation structures both in the UK and internationally. Through this programme we’ll create a fully integrated best-in-class operational model, driving increased value to both clients and investors. This role will be at the heart of this and will be critical to ensure we keep on top of dependencies, actions and risks both within and between projects.
