About Rosti Group

Rosti Group is a global plastics injection moulding company and subcontract manufacturer to some of the world’s leading manufacturers in the e-Mobility, packaging, consumer appliances, business machines and medical sectors employing 2500 colleagues across the manufacturing sites

Main Focus and Challenges

To assist in planning and undertaking of all maintenance activity’s (Predictive, Preventative and Reactive) along with implementing a TPM culture within the business unit.

This position also has an active role in new product introduction developing new equipment and processes along with supporting documentation.

Working as part of the maintenance team to co-ordinate activity across the full site involving utilities and buildings, machine service schedules and site facility maintenance.

Record keeping is essential to all of the above supported by the sites asset management system

Specific Responsibilities

  • Delivery of Servicing and Breakdown Maintenance to be provided on all equipment including but not limited to:

o Moulding Machines, Assembly equipment, Robots, Material Handling system to include Silo’s storage system and Hopper loaders, Test equipment, chillers along with the sites facilities and buildings

  • Reacting to IMM and assembly system breakdowns as they happen within agreed timescales.
  • Asset management development and record keeping
  • Supporting the sites continuous improvement projects, 5S, Kaizen lean activities developing an improvement culture across the organisation.
  • Ensure all production breakdowns and maintenance procedures are dealt with in a timely manner minimising downtime
  • Completing machinery safety checks and record keeping
  • Liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers with site induction of visitors to site complying to the sites strong QHSE policy
  • Reporting of faults or deviations in process to Production supervision / Technician or maintenance team in a timely manner
  • Training provided to support the sites requirements

  • Relevant Engineering Qualification essential

  • Mechanical and Electrical experience essential
  • Experience of plastic injection moulding desirable

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, with flexibility required to cover out of hours breakdowns, including occasional weekend work

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
