About the role

We are looking for an Intermediate UX/UI Designer to join our team and help craft seamless, engaging, and user-friendly automotive digital experiences. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing user requirements, designing intuitive interfaces, and optimising user journeys based on data-driven insights. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented designer with a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and highly functional user experiences.

Responsibilities will include

  • Work with the Lead UX/UI designer to deliver attractive and effective user interfaces across a range of client websites.
  • Keep up to date with the latest UI design and usability trends and techniques.
  • Work with the Lead UX/UI designer to assess the impact of any UI changes/improvements.
  • Gather and evaluate requirements in collaboration with clients, product owners and stakeholders.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Conduct usability testing and analyse user feedback to iterate and improve designs.
  • Utilise tools such as Clarity, Hotjar, and GA4 to analyse user behaviour, identify pain points, and make data-driven design decisions.
  • Utilise A/B split testing to make data driven, incremental improvements to user journeys and UX experience.
  • Ensure consistency in design across all digital platforms, aligning with brand guidelines and best practices.
  • Review and understand client branding to apply to products and services
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development principles
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in UX/UI design.
  • An impressive portfolio of work displaying proven UX/UI methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of UX research methodologies and usability principles.
  • Experience using Clarity, Hotjar, and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to analyse user behaviour and optimise designs.
  • Experience with Atomic design patterns to create scalable and reusable design components.
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI design principles with the ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs with a strong focus on usability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present and articulate your designs, reasoning, and methodologies to clients and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development principles
  • Responsive & Adaptive Design: Skilled in creating mobile-first, responsive designs with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Accessibility Standards: Knowledge of WCAG standards and an understanding of accessible design.
