Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef de Partie, you will oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all food prepared meets our high standards of quality, presentation, and taste. This role is vital in maintaining smooth kitchen operations and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Pay & Reward:
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £27,000 per annum

Responsibilities
- Take charge of a designated kitchen section.
- Prepare, cook, and plate dishes to the highest standards in line with the menu.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef on menu development and specials.
- Manage stock levels and rotation for your station and communicate inventory needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen area, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Monitor portion sizes and waste, ensuring cost control without compromising quality
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.
- Receive and check fresh food and dry stores orders.
- Be environmentally aware and dispose of waste according to hotel standards.
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, health and safety and food safety legislation.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other colleagues.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Culinary qualification or relevant certifications.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Eligible to live and work in the UK
- Be able to converse in English
Reporting Lines:
- Reporting directly to the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef.
