Job description
We are a friendly logistics company based in Upper Heyford, Bicester, nestled within the historic Upper Heyford airbase and we’re looking for someone to join our existing team.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years experience in an admin position, an eye for detail, and a pro active approach.
This roll is very varied across all area of the business and as such will give you a great learning opportunity. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll & Time Sheets:
- Collect and verify data, for time sheets 80-100 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Liaise with managers and employees to resolve any payroll discrepancies
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records
Hotel & Travel Bookings:
- Arrange hotel accommodations for drivers daily
- Ensure cost-effective and convenient booking arrangements
- Maintain an up-to-date record of bookings and travel schedules
General Administration:
- Provide administrative support across departments as needed.
- Maintain and update company records, databases, and filing systems
- Handle emails, and correspondence professionally
- Order office supplies and manage inventory
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including setting up records and documentation
- Support HR and management with ad hoc tasks and reports
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in payroll administration, office administration, or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skill
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with employees at all levels
- Experience in booking travel/accommodation is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
