Job description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service, and fostering strong relationships with clients. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with various accounting software to support clients effectively.
Duties
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all account-related inquiries.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
- Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar tools to manage financial data and generate reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.
- Conduct regular account reviews to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide training and support to clients on the use of accounting software as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an account management or similar role within the finance or accounting sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or equivalent applications is essential.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Relevant qualifications in finance or accounting would be advantageous but are not mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
