Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and service to our clients in the field. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our products and systems, while also fostering strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving abilities and technical expertise, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair equipment and systems at customer sites.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Provide training and support to customers on the proper use of equipment.
  • Document service activities accurately and maintain detailed records of work performed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while on-site.
  • Maintain an organised inventory of tools and spare parts for efficient service operations.

Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role, ideally within the relevant industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients professionally.
  • A valid driving licence is essential for travel to various sites.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
