Job description
We are keen to speak with Assistant accountants from the insurance sector, to join a Lloyds Of London client of ours on an initial 6 month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial reporting and month-end processes
- Support the preparation of Lloyd’s regulatory returns
- Reconcile premiums, claims, and other financial transactions
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with Lloyd’s and UK GAAP requirements
Requirements
- Lloyd’s of London experience in a similar role is essential
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an Assistant Accountant or finance-related position within the insurance sector
- Strong understanding of Lloyd’s reporting requirements and financial processes
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
