Role Summary: As our Sous Chef, you’ll support the Head Chef in delivering a high-quality, seasonally inspired menu. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, mentoring junior staff, and upholding our standards of quality and presentation. This role is ideal for a motivated chef ready to take the next step in a close-knit, quality-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, stock control, and budgeting.
- Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Support menu development and contribute creative ideas using seasonal ingredients.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
- Mentor and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
- Step in to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of seasonal ingredients and passion for quality cooking.
- Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Positive attitude, leadership abilities, and a desire for continuous learning.

Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year
